Just had to have a clutch replaced on the above at only 56k due to "wear & the tear" . Never needed a clutch before in 100s of thousands of miles/entire driving career.
The issue was getting jammed solid in 1st and 1st & 2nd gear selection issues which initially linkage adjustment was done as seems to be a common issue on Vag gearboxes.
Are there any known issues with this clutch on any other Vag models that can be thrown at VW to reclaim the £800+ charged?
Not happy at being labelled wear & tear or being made to feel it's my fault without them actually saying it.
