Mk3 Fogs not working

The fog lights on my gl tdi dont seem to work, I have checked the fuse and that seems ok.

Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem?

Thats something I havent done, but I wouldnt think that both bulbs would go together. Anyhow, I will check and see.
