Octavia Vrs

I have had my Octavia since new in 2007 and it has proved pretty reliable.

Lately however, it has been failing to start if left for more than 2 or 3 days.

In trying to start it the battery goes flat before it starts.

The last twice, having flattened the battery, it was started by the breakdown service by using a bump pack.

The glow plugs have been checked and anyway the last time the weather was warm!

Any ideas please

The battery was checked by the recovery people and was fine. I think 5 mins of trying to start it any battery would go flat but thanks for the suggestion

It spins over fine but but the battery goes flat before it catches

Yes although it took a while

sounds like you need a scan for any codes and go from there then.
