Hi All,

Audi A3, 2005 TDI 2.0 Diesel, i would like to upgrade my Audi concert to either Concert ii+ or Symphony ii+, i would like to know which would be easier to install and also would i need to also change the heater and the amber and tray units? I have the Bose sound. Instructions on doing this would highly be appreciated

Also if anyone could shed some light, what are the difference between the Concert ii+ and Symphony ii+

A picture of what is currently in my car is attached. thank you lads.

Am i right in thinking you want to go from your single din to double din.
If so,
the cheapest way is to get the double din cradle and stuff of a breakers.

Have a look at this post of mine,
It'll help you with the wiring if your going from ISO to quadlock.
Can anyone decypher A3 wiring from ISO to quadlock (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?143590-Can-anyone-decypher-A3-wiring-from-ISO-to-quadlock)

Sorry i cannot help you on the single to double din conversion,
as mine was double din.

Was only pointing you in the direction of a breaker as they will obviously be cheaper for whatever parts you will need to do the conversion.

I have seen it done on this forum,
you'll have to dif about for the post.

No idea in the difference in the concert /syphony units either,
but a dig around the forum will uncover that too.

I was just chiping in there with help on the wiring end,
but you still have not stated wheter your wiring is ISO or Quadlock.

But you have it there (how to modify the wiring) in my post if you need it.

Good luck with your mods.

You're will be ISO.

There are looms out there which covert ISO to quadlock so it isn't that hard to do but you will need to do the single to double din conversion.

There are links on here I will post within the hour.
