The battery on my Asus X52F has died :( Looking on ebay there are many choices of voltage, capacity and the Wh (whatever that is?!). Mine is 10.8v, 4400mAh and 47Wh. Is there a limit to how much above each amount a new battery can be? Can't find one that matches exactly :1zhelp: Thanks in advance.

First and most important the battery has to fit your PC. Second it must deliver the same operating voltage to the PC. Beyond that the other numbers are "up to" numbers. That is to say your replacement battery need to be capable to deliver at least 4400mAh or to sustain 47Wh. You may get away with fitting a battery with lower spec but if the discharge rate is too high then it may overheat. So if there was a battery that was rated at 4600mAh and 49Wh that would be fine. One rated at 4200mAh and 45Wh would not.

Great, thanks for that. Closest I've seen is 4400mAh and 11.1v - do you reckon this is close enough to 10.8v? Is listed for mine, but so are some with 14.4v....
