Is it just me or has the sports diff option disappeared in the car configurator?

Could it be something to do with the fact that the RS6 is now open for orders? That has the sports diff as standard and maybe they want it to have exclusive parts and not cross over to much with the A6...

....alternatively it wouldn't be the first time the configurator was wrong with Audi hiding behind the caveat at the end which says you must check the configuration with the dealer

Do you think Audi are going to include it as part of the MY2014 cars...? They are increasing the base price and adding other goodies like the auto boot...

Wouldn't want to say this is a definitive answer but on this leasing website (Audi A6 DIESEL AVANT 3.0 TDI Quattro S Line 5dr S Tronic Factory Fitted Options (http://carleasingmadesimple.com/business-car-leasing/audi/a6-diesel-avant/52396/factory-fitted-options/?4810N)) they claim to have the spec for the 2014 models (and they do show the DAB module and electric tailgate as being standard so think it is correct) and they list the Quattro Sports Diff as an available option

Probably not then..... In which case it seems most likely to be an issue with the configurator... Like others have said it wouldn't be the first time.... :rolleyes:

E-Mailed my tame Audi dealer earlier, he's just come back to me and said there are no issues with the sports diff to his knowledge and it will not be standard on MY2014 cars (unless your buying an RS :) ) so the configurator is just playing up..
