If you are ordering an SE or GT via the finance route to change in 3 years tie I would get a GTD/GTI if you still have time to change. The superior guaranteed future value on the solutions plans makes it cheaper to run a GTD than a 150TDI GT over 3 years, similar story for the GTI vs 1.4TSI

As much as it pains me as a GT owner, I completely agree. Wish I had waited for GTD :(
