Hi,
Our 2008 V6 TDI UK spec Touareg Altitude went in for its MOT the other day and failed due to its headlight washer's not working. We have changed the pump in a hope to get the problem resolved and its still not working.
We thought it could possibly be the relay (e7), however the VW parts guy said he had never sold a headlight washer relay before, and its unlikely that its the relay that went.
Also checked the fuse, and the manual doesn't list any headlight washers??
After doing some research into this, apparently some Touareg's don't follow the fuse locations that are mentioned in the manual.
We have already had the bumper off the other week after a bird strike and everything looked fine under there.
