tyres!!! sigh

so, it was only 4 weeks ago that i replaced all 4 tyres on my quattro with kuhmo ku39...yesterday whilst overataking someone, i must have ran over something sharp in the middle of the road and basically my tryre made an almighty bang; i thought something was falling off my car! i looked un my rear view and all looked ok, so contined for about 7 miles thinking it was maybe just gravel hitting my under carriage, to cut a long story short, the tryre is completely wasted and no where local is able to get the same tyre for me for about 3 weeks, so i was windering will it be ok to put another type on it? i meant to be getting a Falken ZE914 tomorrow, but just wanted to check thats ok to mix and match like that??

is there anyone else local (kwik fit etc) who can get a kuhmo?

Would have thought that there are plenty of on-line retailers that would be able to get you the same tyres you need.
Lovetyres, Oponeo etc, most will do next day delivery.

i treied black circles earlier and all the local garages i phoned from it had none, and said the ku39 were on back order, it was same everywhere, like there was some crazy shortage!

hmm, i might order and just wait for th ku39 im nervous about mixiing!
