First glance appears to be a bloke with a code reader..... telling people what codes are present....

i would love to know how much money this one bloke with a code reader has invested in this business as he does make a lot of claims of things he can do which can only be found using very high end equipment, for which he must have a serious amount of cash invested, and that website can't have been cheap, yet he only charges 20 quid.
sounds a bit suss if you ask me.

Clever take tho, buy yourself a couple of scan tools, VCDS for your VAG cars and a good OBD scan tool for the others.

A quick search of the forum doesn't show that anyone else has used them, why don't you have a go and give us some feedback?

I can't see them being affiliated to any particular organisation so I can't imagine any of their claims would be official in any way should the need arise.

Give it a go, let us know.

Good luck.

It's quite an enterprising idea, but I would have thought the capital investment for all the kit would be quite large. If you specialised in VAG, then a full copy of VCDS for around £260 would have you covered, but I don't know what else you'd need to other makes of car.

you would need something like autologic to cover most stuff, then other computers for models that doesn't cover. about 30k needed at least to do a half proper job for starters, then a van, insurance, uniform etc, plus training to know how to use the kit you have. not a cheap venture.
mind you, if you just do eobd cars and just check for fault codes, then 50 quid should cover it, but if you give a car the all clear and it does have a fault thats not in obd then you could well be snookered.

had my diagnostics done today they just left a short while ago . They came down in a caddy van rigged up to its teeth lol done my 2 audi a3z and 3 mk5 golfs, tuk them just under an hour. checked each car twice and inbetween each chek they done a road test. when i questioned them about why two is needed, got told that the faults that appear after the test drive are the ones i need to be worried about . told me that my reports can be found online when i log in to my online account with them.

@ NickPicks they did use vcds i tink but reffered to it as vag-com.

@ zollaf , the two lads came down fully uniformed with thier jackets, tracksuits and hats ( it was a bit nippy today), the vw caddy vans where latest models, with their branding all over it. the inside setup from what i could see looked pretty neat and done 2 a decent standard, I would have thought they would have used tabs but they had two screens mounted in the front with keyboard and mouse. and just ran two decent length wires out of the back, saving me the hassle of moving the vehicles for them.

got charged £100 for all 5 vehicles, seemed reasonable to be honest, i dont think they give the whole car a all clear just the electronic side of things.

Pretty neat idea i suppose.
