Well she went through yet again, got advised on worn rear discs and slight play in one rear bearing, will adjust bearing and replace rear discs pads and bearings when I can be bothered, they work fine still!

Emissions were great despite it not having to travel far from a -3.5 degree cold start to the garage. It was a bit low for their inspection pit jack though, cue trolley jack to get clearance haha!

Its a 1.8t AEB with 136k on the clock for those that are interested...

My 1.8T AEB also just passed it's mot first time, i have owned this vehicle for 10 years and have put 90,000 miles of it's 209,000 miles on the clock. Roll on another year of motoring.

My 2.5tdi passed today after failing on a stop light bulb and a tie rod bush.I had checked the bulbs before it went in and said so.Collected with new tie rod end but rear light cluster had not been touched and all bulbs fine!Worn brake discs seems to be another favourite aren't they supposed to wear and you can easily check by feeling the lips..when cold!!
