hi all, my 02 passat 2.0 20v has been drinking oil and it is getting into the intake tube before TB causing idle/ power problems. i have removed the valve from rocker cover and cleaned it/ replaced it several times but to no avail. ive replaced all the vacuum hoses and valves and checked for leaks etc. found none. i came up with the idea of blanking the exit from the valve where it joins the intake duct, and blanking the intake port, thus no oil in TB. the vacuum pipe still attached so blow by gasses from rocker cover and crankcase are removed and passed thro a catch can. will this affect negatively in any way? thanks

Are you sure it is not coming from the Turbo bearings. Remove the inpet pipe on the intercooler and inspect for excess oil. Regards Peter
