Fan overrun on 3.0 tdi quattro 245??

Hi, a couple of times I have noticed the fan over-run after parking up, and after not necessarily 'hard' driving. Had this on more obviously 'performance' cars in the past, Subaru Imprezas etc, but is this normal on my new 3.0tdi quattro 245? Thanks.

It's your DPF finishing its regen.

The 177 I had on loan did this and so does my A3 the odd time.
