Hello, I am a newbie and have decided to start doing work on my golf myself. Have a 1995 MK.3 1.4 Match.
Not to bad in condition, going to have to do some body work on it soon though.
I am going to change all my wheels, back to front and vice versa etc, change my oil and replace my rocker gasket next week, weather permitting of course.
My question, where do I jack my Golf up. I've looked in haynes manual, but not very clear. I'm assuming I use a trolly jack to lift car up, then put it on axle stands. Do i jack front up on strong point underneath then put axle stands on the arrowed bits by the doors, just back from the mudflaps, so one either side of vehicle.
Then put axle stands on the strong points by door on back to. But where do you use trolley jack on back. If you use strong point to trolley jack then you can't get axle stand in.
