:zx11: Ok, I bought a Lemon. Can anyone on here help me with the following queries. How can I find the true mileage in the ECU. The car new adjustable suspension which is very low. I need to raise it up, can I do this without specialist help? The delay switch part for the front window wiper does not work, except when you move the switch it wipes once. The back interior lights do not work. Vent interior lights not working. emissions workshop light and buzzer on start up. The EGR (I think) as I will put a picture up on another post is jammed opened with cable ties and vacauum disconected????? The car still runs ok but is smokey on start up. I dont know why this has been done. The lock inside the right hand side which the key goes into the isolate the boot switch does not work. I have just bought a second hand boot lid complete as the other one was scratched and rusty in places? and the boot switch would not fuction aswell. I can only open boot with the remote. If I change the boot, will this effect the remote opening of the boot. I have a symbol on the dash when I move off, its the esp light, as the last owner said it had new brake pads at the rear. I think the calipers are sticking. Is this an easy fix?
Last thing before I melt away, I know of a recent 2002 passet sport 6 speed 130 that has been crashed and the owner is selling the complete engine. If that engine is better, is that a strait forward swop? The engine on mine has no service history and the HPI report said it had done 146000 in sept 2006????
Thw mileage now reads 101000 miles as of last week. Its still says on the dash that Im getting aroung 46-54mpg. The engine starts on the button and seems to go ok. As this chance of a swop loomed I was wondering if they are the same engine code. I dont know what mine is. I also need a 2nd key and there are loads on ebay, but I cant find the key number on the fob I have. How do I open it as I only have the one I dont want to break it.
I am based in Tipperary in Ireland. Is there any recommended car mechanics that others have used?
I appriecate your feedback on this forum.:biglaugh:

Car has been previously messed around around with so my aim is to slowly put right.
