Anybody know what spec/part number for 16" steel wheels for the new Golf?
Can I fit some 16" ones from MK6/Skoda etc?
Wife wants some winter wheels and tyres for her new GT - guess it's cos she drives like a woman :p
TIA

I'd like them as standard on the SE as at least you wouldn't be worried about kerbing those Satan's invention, the 'Alloy' wheel. A nice plastic wheel trim is preferable as it can be replaced when badly scuffed.

Lol, yeah if this was Germany, we'd be buying a car with leather interior and 16" steel wheels but sadly in bullsh!t Britain it's all about the looks ;)

I test drove a new A3 Sline with 18s and DSG - totally unsuited to the UK and complete POS for £29k :biglaugh:

Anyway, no idea about the steelies then?

I have 16" VW steel wheels with Veredestein Snowtrac3 tyres (205/55R16 91H).
Better grip in wet , slush, snow etc .
Anytime temperature below 7 C better adhesion.
Part no of my VW steels V8PO 601 027 03C.
Sensible woman by the way.
