i've just replaced the instrument cluster and had the dealer clear the codes. ....but that's not the problem ....the alternator is puting out 14.14 Volts (tested on the battery) when the car was running...the dealer said it's showing a P1602 Power supply(B+) Terminal 30 sporadic ....any ideas?? This may help, I know you say you've had the voltage checked... what about the generator as it says below (whatever that is:confused:)

18010/P1602/005634 - Power Supply B+ Terminal 30: Voltage too Low

[edit (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php?title=18010/P1602/005634&action=edit&section=2)]
Possible Causes

Cables on the Battery were removed
Battery weak (voltage)
Generator Disfunction [edit (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php?title=18010/P1602/005634&action=edit&section=3)]
Possible Solutions

Check Battery Cables
Check/Replace Battery
Check/Replace Generator [edit (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php?title=18010/P1602/005634&action=edit&section=4)]
Special Notes

If multiple Control Module have Power Supply Faults stored, it's most likely to be one common Problem like the ones shown above. Otherwise when only one or two Control Modules have such Codes stored you better start searching at the individual Power Supply of these Modules. hey...i've had a look at the back of the alternator.....holy jumpins...good luck changin that...it's pretty tight in there...there was a bit of corrosion clearly visable on the ground wire on the back of the alternator....tried to get some of it off with a flat screwdriver but it's too hard to get at...i couldn't get it off.....

what i did figure out is this.... drivers side...down by your left foot...behind the plastic panel there are a shop load of wires and connections there.... i unplugged one down on the bottom left and the rpm guage started working and the oil light went off....so now all that's on is the abs and E brake lights.... i couldn't see anything wrong with those wires...wierd...anymore thoughts?? ... THANKS>>>>

Alternator (UK) = Generator (USA). Same thing!
