chrome grill slatts

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can get chrome grill slatts for my Passat?

The chrome grill slats on the B6 Passat only come as standard on the top spec SEL models. As far as I know they aren't available as something you can just stick on, at least I can't see them in the accessories brochure.

I would assume that VW do supply them as anyone driving an SEL Passat who has a front end bump would need to replace them. However whether you can get them separately or whether you have to replace the whole grill with an SEL one is something a call to the bodyshop at dealers might answer.

It is personal taste, but I can't help thinking less is more here as it's an awful lot of chrome strips...
