S3 drivers window

Hi every1 am looking for sum info about my 51plate S3 the drivers window is really slow and keeps going down when am pressing buton to close it,it will get so far up then go down,is it the switch or motor any help would be great thanks.the car is 4sale if interested thanks

Sounds more like the runners need greasing, or perhaps the glass is loose in the plastic clamp on the runner (meaning it twists slightly as it goes up). Take the door card off and check if its clamped securely, and spray some white grease on the runners, plus some silicone lube spray in the rubbers it slides up inside.
