Just bought this 1.9 PD SE version even though the CC wasn't working. A few minutes into the test drive a warning light for a break light failure came on. We stopped, replaced the faulty bulb and carried on. I activated the cruise control swithch and pressed SET at about 60mph and the CC dash light came on, but there was no CC activity. Tried it several times but no luck. I have heard that a faulty brake light can prevent CC from working, but now it's replaced shouldn't it work ok - particulary as the CC dash board light does come on with the switch. Any advice would be great.
