Hi everybody
Greeting from the land of the midnight sun.

Please be gentle with a newbie on this forum.
I have tried to search the forum without luck.

I have recently bought a second handGolf Mk5 2.0 TDI

Nice car, untill I found out that one of the front passenger door speakers probably is broken. Well I found some second hand on the net!

I now have some questions:
1, How do I remove the interior trim from the door (donīt want to break anything)

2, Is there any differences in speakers ?
(generic or are all the same)

3, can you recomend any easy workshop manuals?
( replacing filters, bulbs and so on)

Cheers

now then, welcome to the forum.

I too have wondered how to remove the door panel, but as there is nothing wrong with mine i've left it alone.:p

There is a haynes manual due out very soon, see here http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14037&highlight=haynes

there will no doubt be various bits of trim to unclip and not very obvious screws to remove but i bet there are loads of clips all round the edge that look like they'll snap very easily.

If i learn anything else i'll post accordingly.

I can help with a tow bar if you go down that route.;)

I believe its for a MK4 golf but various aspects seem very similar so it may help you.
