2004 Polo. How to get screw out of screen vent.

A screw has fallen into the screen vent and is rattling around somewhere in the heater. Is it possible to get out without removing the whole dash. The vents are in a moulding in front of the dash and I wondered it this was removable separately?

As i havent looked into dash dissasembly so not sure,but if yo can identify roughly where in the heater the screw is, fix a small magnet to the out-side of the heater casing annd the screw will stick there.a small sticky backed magnet from a hobby shop or a craft shop should do.
not a total remmedy but worth a try.
