Hello all, Im going to look at a 2008 B8 Avant, with high miles on (130000) is there anything I should be looking for? Also the car is a basic SLine, what is its true value??

Thanks

Service history, proper Audi main dealer one.

Hopefully, the clutch/flywheel will have been done too, they tend to go.

No idea on value. Mine is a 2009 S Line Exec with 138k on at the moment, still going strong and yet to put a foot wrong. Still looks, feels and drives like a new car.

Usual things. If its been looked after, it will be fine. So, service history, matching tyres, stone chips touched in, etc, all signs of it being looked after.

Repeat what's been mentioned before, check that the clutch / DMF has been sorted out otherwise you'll have a £1k+ bill on your hands (mine has just been replaced after 78k). Check that there is life left in the brake pads and discs (£300) and tyres are in good condition (£175 ish each).

Cambelt (and water pump) will probably need changing for a 2nd time at 144k (£800)

What's it worth ?? unfortunately for us owners, I reckon £10-12k max.

Nice cars, going to hang on to mine for a while.
