Hi,

My car is driving me nuts! Have had it at the dealers on the computer, but no luck. The latest thing going wrong is that 1) after driving a few miles the EPC light comes on and 2) that even after driving a long time I never see my temperature gauge go over 90 ever - seems odd to me. I was having intermittent probs with the car starting every now and then, but that seems to have stopped for now.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

it could be the coolant temperature sensor causing your problems , do a search on here for coolant temperature sensor and you'll get loads of results . its a 32 quid part and fitting is easy and about 1/2 litre of g12 coolant to replace

90 degrees is the optimal temperature for this car, EPC light usually means there's a problem with the throttle position sensor. Can you get it scanned with VCDS preferably showing live data as it's an intermittent fault
