Brake noise??

Hi, several times recently in wet weather I have has a screech from brakes. Pulled over ond no obvious signs of problem. Brakes are not binding as car rolls freely. Noise has cleared after a bit...with last time after a heafty dab on brake pedal. Handbrake releases OK. Any ideas?

Stone or worn out pads

Pull the pads and put a smear of copper grease on the backs of them... may not cure it but its done the trick for me in the past!
