Had a bit of an ongoing issue with clutch / DMF Starting problems - clutch / DMF? (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?141629-Starting-problems-clutch-DMF)
Got home tonight, went to put it in reverse and the clutch pedal went straight to the floor. I managed to get it back on the drive, called the AA (1st year I've ever bought breakdown recovery), they looked at it and said slave cylinder problem.
Need to get it looked at tomorrow, but am fearing a £1k+ bill.
Any thoughts on the diagnosis ?
TIA

The only thing, I don't know if that's the problem.... Probably could change it, but don't really want the hassle !

Is it working now? can you get someone to press the clutch whilst you see if its moving?

not much, it's always had a fairly heavy clutch.
Think it'll be taking a trip to the local indy in the morning and let them deal with it :(
