Armrest Ipod Dock

Hi, first time poster so please bear with me! I have a Jetta 2.0 Tdi 2007 which came to me with an ipod dock in the armrest. I use it all the time depite its foibles, however the connection to the Ipod has gone wrong and i need to replace it. I know that you simply slide out the insert in the glove box and un-plug it, however I am loathe to part with over £300 to my VW dealer for a replacement. Part no. is 1KO 857 925 E1QB. I have seen on a well known auction site an Audi replacement part no 8EC 857 925 D. Will this fit? It looks identical....

Hi christof I'm also a Newbie here.

I have one of these iPod adapters in my Passat. Which I'm looking to replace with a CD Changer.
The part No is different by a few digits. 3C0857925C1QB but I've looked at photos on Google image search and it looks identical.

£60 plus postage? If it doesn't fit your car I'll take a return.
