Hi, i have an A6 avante, i work in the UK but live in Spain when not working; on asking my wife to pick me up she said the steering was shaking. on arriving home i found the rear wheel to be toeing out by so much that the rear of the tyre was touching the wheel arch! how could this happen in a car park? the audi dealer in alicante has quoted £1000 to affect the repair, luckily the insurance is paying but i really would like to know if any of the suspension could have failed as it has done a high mileage, 240000Km, thanks in advance for any clues:zx11:

Was it parked where someone could of hit the wheel and than drove off??? any marks on the wheel?

it could have been hit as there are scratches on the sill but its parked where someone could not possibly have been travelling fast enough to do the damage!
