Help please if poss................
My 2000 model A8 has the cradle/pre-wiring & steering wheel controls fitted for phone, but no phone was with it.
Local main dealer very helpful and manged to find out that it should be -
Nokia 3110 (old shape)
Audi OE no- 4B0 035 703.
The OE has been deleted from being a stock item now the 2003 - model is 4 years old. They reccommended e-bay and I found a phone.
The battery is too thick for the cradle and the phone won't fit onto the connector.
The original Nokia item probably had a slim battery fitted. (code BLJ-1). Try as I have, I have found nothing anywhere about it.
Anybody out there experienced this issue and if so did they sort it? I do 2 long journeys a week so would appreciate the phone wired up. Otherwise it'll be bluetooth lump on ear for mile after mile.
