Windows and locks not working

My nephews 1999 Bora 1.9 tdi's doors and windows are not working, if he closes the door, put the key in to lock, the other door lock pins go to the lock position (down) then pop back up, then a second later all the windows go down, any advice greatly appreciated. Jamesipryce@aol.com

You'd need to get her scanned with something like VCDS, it could be several things the scan will point you in the right direction
