SD card maximum size?

Are there any limitations to the maximum size of SD card that can be used?

Need to get one before car arrives but don't want to buy, say, a 16GB or 32GB one only to find the car won't recognise it!

Hi, according to my Radio Navigation manual (page 26), 2TB is the limit for SDXC cards. 32GB for the older SDHC.

256GB cards are just becoming available, but at £270 think I'll be sticking to something smaller and cheaper.
