PD Retuning

Hi,

I keep seeing on ebay plug in Tuning Boxes for TDI PD engines offering 30bhp and 50 lb torque increases, are these any good? Do they damage your car in anyway? I have the VAGCOM cable should I just change the Tiptronic to Sport Mode?

there are a few threads on this topic and they are very mixed opinions on this as yes they can cause damage

Hi,

I think I will just activate the sport mode by the OBD cable, the other ebay mods look a bit risky for my liking...

Does the Sport mode increase BHP/TorQUE or just change the settings so it uses what its got better?
