right! can anyone help? got a quatrro 20v 1990 with a firing problem.
i've been told that this is a common fault and usually stems from the ht leads.
all leads and plugs including cap and rotor are fine.
the car starts first time but occasionally runs rough (3-4 cylinders)
the problem becomes more noticable under acceleration upto 3000rpm from stop or under load.
the other problem is possibly related, i hope.
once engine is running at nominal temp, it starts, runs for a second then cuts out..
could both niggles be caused by a faulty coil?
also, does the temp sender feed info to ecu? if so, will this cause the idle fault??
