Changing Mk5 GT TDI alloys

Hi folks,

I am looking to buy a used Mk5 GT TDI. The bog standard 16" alloys just dont do it for me but I'm struggling to find one with 17" alloys (something like the Estorils).

My question is, can I fit any mk 5 Golf alloy to this car, whether it be 17" or 18"? I understand the suspension and ride height are the same as the GTI so could I fit the GTI 18" wheels without them looking odd or having to change anything?

i believe you can.

Another member paul_mk5_golf i think it is, has gti alloys on his mk5 golf.
