Wipers not stopping when in off position

Hi i have a seat leon 2002 1.9 tdi 110, wipers work fine on all speeds but when turened off they end up on constantly anyone know what could cause this. Dale

Do you have rain sensors? And if so have you had a replacement windscreen?
