Hi

I have an Audi Bluetooth dongle for my A6 2008 car. I was told that the dongle was discontinued/obsolete so I was lucky to get hold of one.

We are getting a 2010 A4 with AMI , surely there is a Bluetooth dongle for this too , does anyone know the part number ?

Its £100+ for a second hand part.

They're as rare as hens teeth.

Audi Music Interface AMI Bluetooth Adapter 4F0051510J | eBay (http://www.ebay.de/itm/Audi-Music-Interface-AMI-Bluetooth-Adapter-4F0051510J-/160938602844?pt=Kabel_Stecker&hash=item2578b0315c)

expect that to go to at least £90 and the part number is shown.

Thanks that's the same part number as the one for my A6. I paid £100 for it from my local Audi dealer. Would be good if there was a 3rd party dongle that worked too.

Been googling , it's seems Audi never implemented Bluetooth music support on MMI 3G with sat nav .

Hi Guys, I've also been looking for this type of device. I found there is a Bluetooth music device from ViseeO called Tune2Air WMA1000 which is designed to turn the wired AMI into a wireless AMI and allow you to play and browse music directly using MMI. However, I have had some question in regards to the use of Audi's Bluetooth handsfree at the same time while using this device in another post of the forum. As I use handsfree a lot during driving I want to make sure they can coexist:

A reply from someone said it is OK to use both of them at the same time but I am still not 100% sure as I thought Bluetooth is 1 to 1 relationship usually unless the technology has already evolved. I guess I will find out later this week as I think I might give this Tuen2Air thing a go. Hope it works alongside the Bluetooth handsfree in my car.

It's definitely possible.

In my A6 there is a handsfree Bluetooth pair and an official Audi A2DP Bluetooth AMI dongle paired with my iPhone simultaneously. I seamlessly receive calls and stream music no problem.

The price various but it is not expansive. If you search the eBay in different region you get different price. However, you must take the international shipping into consideration of course.
