Morning,
I'm hoping somebody can help.
I'm having problems with the AMI system in my 2010 Q7. Yesterday morning the system just froze on me, the screen worked but none of the functions including rear camera and steering wheel control (in speech dialogue worked). I did a reset as per the manual and everything was then working.
This morning everything seemed to be working but the system then kept resetting it's every 3 minutes with sat nav and steering wheel controls not working. After about a dozen resets it all seems to be working however
Q1, what was the cause of the above and is it resolved (I'm thinking not).
Q2, the sat nav is talking in german (all menu functions are displayed in english) and a message "speech dialogue is not set up for "null" appears when i click the voice command on the steering wheel. When I look in the manual none of the speech dialogue menus are included on the menu listings.
Any help woul be gratefully received, I did a factory set and this did nothing.
