Here is my effort. I used fairy liquid, pink grapefruit is my prefered choice as it makes the car smell nice while i am drying it with a chamois!

Once dry, I wax with Trafalgar polish which i sought from a valeting company. Seriously easy to apply and remove and leaves a deep shine. i have tried many expensive products, but this is by far the cheapest and easiest and pound for pound, the best i have used.

all cleaning is done either early morninng or late evening when the bodywork is cool.

certainly looks like that "grapefruit fairy liquid" does the trick - proper gloss on that beast.

Try Fairy Washing Powder, that'll get the ingrained c**p off. Ruins your hands though, bear that in mind.

looks nice. really you should never use washing up liquid to wash a car because its got salt in it to make the dishes shine.

Have just tried some amazing black trim polish called "Black in a flash" made by turtle wax. brings up black trim like new in minutes.

Cracking motor and cracking colour.

But you do want to use a shampoo that has got some reasonable lubricants in it rather than Fairy liquid. There are some really good shampoos out there for between £13 and £22 a gallon. Saving money and using heavy detergents is not really cool TBH!!:p Certainly not on much-loved machines like yours.

That looks ace :D Top Job!

Washing up liquid - Try sand blasting the car first next time to give it that extra shine ;)

Wowweee !

That is shiny !

My only problems against wax is,

Its damned hard to get off when you nexts wash and it gets the car dirty quickly.

But other than that, when if comes to selling the car, you get great wow factor :D
