As I patiently (:zx11:) await the arrival of my A3 sportback (4 weeks to go), I wonder if any owners of the latest spec Concert or Symphony MP3 CD players can answer some questions about it, so that I can have the CDs ready to go from Day 1

Can it play playlist files? If so what format?

Can it handle directories?

What details does it display? Folder name? File name? ID3 tag?

With the symphony, can you allocate names to the 6 different CDs or are they just numbered 1-6?

Thanks in advance

i created a cd from itunes and played it in my 2007 Concert II - just says CD1 and Track1 etc etc

same as the Audi iPod adapter

If you don't mind this then it's fine. I can have six play lists which are on shuffle anyway.

Hi prolfe,

I think you misundertood what I meant. You are talking about playing a music CD that has been created on a PC. That will always just show CD1 track 01 etc. I am talking about a data CD containing MP3 files. I know that the latest Concert II + and Symphony II + headunits can play these data CDs and display track data because I tried one when I had my test drive. It's how exactly they work and what they display that I am after.

Great, anything you can find out about how a data CD works on it would be great.

Thanks
