Hi everyone

I've got 52 reg AUDI A4 Avant sport. Registration documents are showing manufacturing date of 13. 06. 2003. My VIN number shows MY 2004 (digit 10 is 4)?

How is that possible?


I know the car is legit as it had VIC check done. The only thing that springs in mind is that number place is somehow private.

i agree on the point the reg could be a private plate

on the front page at the bottom below the keeper details it may say the original reg

your manufacturing date coinsides with the MY2004 so thats correct so the number plate must be private

The document claims first registration 13 06 2003. How could it be MY 2004?

that will be MY2003 then unless the car was registered very quickly after it was built
