Anyone got any photos of the Golf in Limestone Grey? I can't see it on the VW website on any other models.

I never trust the configurator photo accuracy!

The German brochure is your best bet: ProduktbroschĆ¼ren < Infomaterial anfordern < Volkswagen Deutschland (https://volkswagen.de/de/dialog_center/infomaterial_anfordern/produktbroschueren.htx) (thanks to JDB007)

Purely a matter of taste, but I think that colour's too light, old steel grey is better

I went for urano grey, mainly because under company car scheme I end paying for metallic and am too tight to do so.

Ah thanks, useful link.

Urano grey is nice, and £495 is a lot of money. Think I'll go with that if I end up getting one

Brilliant, thanks!

Out of interest, what's the colour of the one behind, anyone know?

....and which wheels are those? Also, anyone get any photos of the standard 17" Dijon wheels in the flesh?

Ta.

More to the point, what IS the car behind? It's not a new golf - look at the mirrors, roofline and shape of the front windows. Thought it was a passat at first, but it's too small? Anyway, it's brown ;)

They are Geneva 17" wheels - a £280 option. Downside is that the centre cap (covering the bolts) is a nasty plastic.

Is it a Polo behind it? Really like the colour whatever it is!

When I was considering a Touareg I really liked the colour Java and I think it is that (or very similar). Shame it is not available on the new Golf - range of colours is pretty poor I think.

I'm suprised there isn't a shade of brown on the Golf, you see brown cars on car adverts all the time now. Really like the Citroen DS4 and DS5 in brown

Which wheels are fitted to this?? They are not on the vw configurator and look like the new A3 s-line wheels?

I think that they are the 17" Geneva wheels, a £280 option. But on this car they don't have the horrible plastic centre caps on which hide the bolts/studs. I guess they are fitted at PDI time?

The 17" Genevas are 7 (twin) spoke, the ones in the pic are 5 spoke. They look like 18" Vancouvers?

Maybe, although I didn't think that Vancouvers were available on the new Golf VII. And if you look at:

http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new/golf-vi/explore/gallery/1

They don't look like them. A mystery!

No dont think they are Vancouvers or A3 sline now. Definatey not any from the mk7 configurator or brochure. Confused?

Whatever they are they look great on the mk7.

They are the 18" Durbans (not available in the UK at present):

http://www.volkswagen.de/content/medialib/vwd4/de/dialog/pdf/golf-a7/katalog/_jcr_content/renditions/rendition.download_attachment.file/golf_katalog.pdf

See pages 14-15 of the German brochure.

They've probably kept the 'Durban' wheels for the home market only!! :-)

The Marseille wheels look awesome, as do Serron and Madrid. A 1.4 TSI GT in Limestone Grey and the Marseille wheels..... want. Badly.

According to the new UK pricelist you can't specify the Serron wheels with the 1.4 TSi ACT GT.

I think it is an EOS - I am on holiday in Gran Canaria and I saw the exact car and colour (JAVA I think) parked on Porto Mogan.

Its definitely a Polo, and the colour is Java. I rather like it! Not sure it'll work on the Golf though, I think it works Beyer on smaller cars.

I'm pretty sure it's a Polo. Compare with this pic:

Anyone got a photo of a Tungsten Silver in the flesh? I've just gone for that to replace my currnetly dirty/white mk6.
