Hi all, can anyone help?
Does anyone know if the Audi 2.4L V6 and the 2.8L V6 30 valve engines share common parts when it comes to replacing the cam belt, water pump and camshaft oil seals?
Looking on Google for step by step instructions on how to replace the cam belt etc., I have found quite a lot of helpful info on how to do the job on the 2.8L V6 30 valve, but nothing on the 2.4L version, which is the version I have.
I think the reason may be that most of the documentation I have seen originates in the States and I believe the 2.4L version was never released there.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
My car reference/engine codes are;
Model: Audi A4 B5 8D2
Engine: AGA 2.4L V6 30Valve
Gearbox: DES
Year: 1998
