Hi Everyone,
I've been driving my 97 model A4 1.9TDI for 10 yrs now with my wife constantly having to remind me to lock the doors when mobile (one can't be too careful). Thanks to VAG-COM, the car now performs this operation automatically! I did notice, however, that the first bit in the status word, which denotes a "Great Britain alarm system" is actually set to zero and not "1" as I would have expected. Can anyone shed any light on this anomaly?
