Can a geek advice with this oil id and if correct to use?

My Audi is Sept 2009 2Li 143 Diesel vehicle.

I want to know id I could use the following oil for my car.

The oil id: The following written on the bottle;
Castorl EDGE PROFESSIONAL Longlife III 5W-30. SAE 5W-30; ACEA C3; VW 504 00/ 507 00; Porsche C30

Can some-one confirm me if this is the correct oil to use in my Audi car?

I could see the VW 507 00 mentioned on the bottle. So that is the correct oil and safe to use in my Audi A4 SE TDI Diesel 2li 143 6SP.
I am very catious after my friend took his BMW [Petrol engine] to a garage that put in the wrong oil and his engine fried! [That is waht he told me].
I did check the Audi book that says something along the line of VW 507 00 for diesel....... but then I am not a geek with modern cars and it's engines and oils!!

VW 507 00 is what you want.

Castrol EDGE 5W-30 FST is a cheaper alternative if you don't already have the oil.

Btw keep your car on a 10k or 1 year oil change interval - far better and so have many others said too. The oil I posted will so both Fixed and LL servicing.

It has no real official meaning but I refer to it as Volkswagen Audi Group but I've seen others refer to it as Volkswagen AG.
