I bought this for my wife.Came up with p0401 and p1443 codes indicating on EGR valve with engine light on.It did have a new egr valve fitted with a receipt 3 month ago before we bought.So I called an auto electrician to test the wires etc who diagnosed the ECU at fault as it reads on abs and somewhere else ecu no communication intermittent.Had the light off for 2 weeks and today it came up but drove fine and started a few times no probs but failed to start outside my workshop where I left it as had to run home to babysit.Just wondering before I start on it is there any common problems on these,like corroding connectors etc?Will read the codes tomorrow.I don`t have a VCDS yet just a snap on diagnostic so can`t do a component test.
