So you want to retrofit xenons?

You'll need headlight washers and auto levellers for the suspension to keep everything legal.

eBay or the likes just search a4 b8 xenon

8K0941004C / 8K0941003C

I think I read somewhere you can't use units from LHD cars as its impossible to change the beam pattern as the headlamp is manufactured for either LHD or RHD from factory.

I'm sure reading it it doesn't say anything about left hand drive its meant to read near side or left side. Unless I've missed something

There is a different part number for left and right.

Read online about the left and right hand drive thing as you could buy them and end up with non functioning headlights due to incorrect beam

Cheers mate your a star. Now all I have to do is find a right hand side headlight and I'll be laughing provided they're ok for right hand drive cars

right i think ive found some, tried looking on Ebay uk for the correct part numbers for RHD cars, and came up with 8K0941003D, 8K0941004D, left and right respectively, the right hand side one i found on Ebay.de part number is 8K0941004C whats the difference between a D and a C at the end of the part number? does it correspong to RHD and LHD or the colour?

I now know that 3 is left and 4 is right on a rhd car. Anyone know of a website listing part numbers for UK and European models?

Are the drl xenon headlights specificly D2S bulbs? And if so where's the best place to get a pair and their ballasts too?

Just reading through thread as my friend asked me whether it was possible on his A4 SE,

I'm confused why their is specific part number for left hand drive and right hand drive because in my settings on the MMI system I can manually switch the beam for left hand or right hand drive for when travelling abroad so I just assumed they were universal?

This could have saved him some money if it's actually possible, neither of us are very skilled in this area might not be worth the hassle.
