Fitted some elipsoids to the motor , ive heard you can modify them slightly so the lights stay on when you flick to main beam, by moving some wires in the plug at the back of the light switch stalk. can anyone tell me which to move where?

i did notice your plug was different to the pic in the post. ours matched it but mrs z said if you read more there are some alternative wirings that people have and that may be your answer.

if you look at his new lights, they have a round thing for the dipped beam and are commonly know as projector headlights, much like more modern cars have. the audi 80 ones also have the sidelights built in where the indicators are normally, and are the same as 80 coupe lights.
basically an ellipsoid looks better. they are slightly better visibility wise than normal lights, but the main reason for spanking loads on them, like i did, is because they look the dogs b's. they were fitted to the s2 and rs2 80's, and thats enough reason to find some and fit them to your car.
