For anyone who made the 'mistake' of going for a white car, this guy has the answer

http://youtu.be/rNY9Dx617N8 (http://youtu.be/rNY9Dx617N8)

I found my spine cringing just watching that :aargh4: let alone all the dust and muck being blown onto it.

I found that proper scary !

What about the raditor being gunked, locks, badges etc etc as well as the dust etc!

It doesn't look like it takes much for it to start coming off.

just over £200 quid for a complete kit to coat my avant ? hmm, that gets me thinking. she needs a paint job and i don't want to do it, which gives a big bill to get it looking right, and then its just going to get scratched. with that you could just peel it off and re do it.
and what better way to protect a new paint job (thinking brand new car) peel it off after 10 years and sell it looking factory fresh.

The spec of that car is quite interesting as well! it's an S4, yet it looks pretty poverty spec with plastic black door mirrors and handles.

Is that actually the spec of the S4 in America!?

I think he said during the video that he'd already "plasticed" the chrome around the windows, so perhaps he'd done the mirrors and handles as well? I thought it as odd that the car had a black roof, I've seen the two-tone paint job for the A1 where it looks quite good, but I've never noticed the option on an A4/S4.
