I've just bought a 2010 A4 with a bang and olufsen sound system. It has a SD card slot.
Can some one tell me which is the largest size memory it will support.
Sorry if it seems a daft question but it's worlds away from the 6cd changer in my vrs!
Thanks in advance.

Every one I look at seems to be SDHC, not sure where to find non SDHC.

It's not that straight forward.

My MY2010 car (Sept 09 on 59 plate) is SDHC.

It changed around this time. A few months earlier and they were coming out SD. In fact there's some 59 plates with SD only slots.

I have a couple of 4Gb SD cards that I bought at the time and haven't used that I'll flog it you're interested. However if yours is 2010 then it's likely to be SDHC compatible.

You not got one around?

As a matter of interest, who makes the standard stereo in the A4?

I have a 2011 and 16gb cards seem to work fine, I have the Nav on one and music on the other.

I'm using a cheappy 16Gb SD card, Class 4 and it works great. Access time is almost instantaneous. (On my VW CC, accessing the file structure for changing tracks took ages with this same card.)

I might be wrong, but I think the B&O part of the system consists of only the Amps and Speakers, the head unit is standard.
As I say, I might be wrong, but it still sounds ace!

Hope this helps.

I'm only glad I have the older MMI 2 system which has an USB connector interface cable, here I use an old 160GB HDD from my Laptop mounted inside a £10 USB caddy from eBay and its full of 1000's of albums and works a treat!!!
