Tiguan SE to Escape front bumper conversion.

Hello. Having had my 2.0Tdi SE 4Motion since Jan 2012 I have come to the conclusion that I much prefer the look of the Escape front end and wheels. Has anyone done a front bumper swap like this before? I know there is more to an Escape than just the bumper and wheels but that doesn't bother me. If it does turn out to be an option, all the salvaged parts from my car will be saleable. After this I need to work out if this is a sensible thing to do from a resale point of view. My car is a 58 plate with 93K and I would be selling in about 2 years time with about 120K. As I say, just thinking about it right now (currently searching for parts on Ebay) and conversion would be a lot cheaper than changing the car plus my wife is less likely to notice! Great car otherwise and much more roomy for us and our son compared to the A4 Tdi Avant we had before.
